The internet agency Euroweb achieved seven awards at the WebAwards 2012. The WebAwards are a yearly internet competition sponsored by the Web Marketing Association. The competing websites within a category are competently chosen in seven categories namely: Design, Innovation, Content, Technologie, Interactivity, Text Content and Usability. Over 2000 applications from agencies throughout 42 countries have been submited. This year the german internet agency Euroweb participated in the competition with some strong projects. The result: eight nominations, seven winning titles, twice the prestigious title „Best of Industry“.
The distinction "Best Toy & Hobby Website" goes to Euroweb for the website of the Toy Museum Ilmenau. The Award "Best Internet Service Provider Website" was achieved by the agency for its own website. “The site is very well designed. It is innovative, informative, professional and makes great use of the latest front end technologies.”, the jury commended.
The Career-Site of the the Euroweb Group left a big impression in the category „Employment“ and won the distinction for the "Outstanding Website“ , as well as the distinction "Standard of Excellence“ within the category „Information Services“. The distinction "Standard of Excellence“ goes to the websites not with the most credits within the category but for those with credits above average for each category. Three of Euroweb's websites were distinguished. The official website of the racer Pierre Kaffer achieved the title "Sports Standard of Excellence“ . Clown Magician Charlie's website won the title "Entertainment Standard of Excellence“. Within the category "Professional Services“ the website "Aquasystems – Berninger Water Technology“ left an above average impression and achieved the title.
Because of seven awarded submissions Euroweb was additionaly presented by the Web Marketing Association with the „Outstanding Website Developer Award“. This is an award for companies that achieve six or more distinctions.
